An Evening with Rupert Isaacson

As we open our working horse weekend, we are delighted to bring to you an unmissable evening in the company of an inspiring and entertaining speaker from the world of equine, education and wellbeing, Rupert Isaacson.

Author of The Horse boy and founder of The Movement Method, Rupert's work with horses to increase wellbeing and learning capacity in children is groundbreaking. The development of teaching techniques using horses, sensory prompts and nature as the classroom, has delivered proven and life changing outcomes. With horse boy centres now open across the globe and The Movement Method being accepted and adapted into many learning venues, the connections between nature, play, learning and wellbeing have never been so important for us to understand.

With a welcome drink and delicious canapes to start your evening, we look forward to welcoming you to this fascinating evening at Heligan.

Rupert Isaacson Horse In Field In Sunshine

Sir Tim Smit writes...

“I have twice seen Rupert speak to audiences and each time he brought the house down. The first occasion was when he addressed all 500 of the staff at the Eden Gathering at the end of which he got a full throated roar and a standing ovation, people were mesmerised by both his charisma and the revelation of someone talking about health in nature that didn’t sound alternative or fey. He is a star and has real life experience of taking many people on a journey back to wellness through his work with horses. The second time I saw him was at the Hay Festival in which there were queues of people to get in leaving many disappointed.

Come and see a fully fledged star who, in an hour will change your views on how you look at the world. Personally, I was both moved and inspired and he has become a close friend as result”

Introducing Walks of a Curious Nature

Heligan Healing in collaboration with Rupert lsaacson, is pleased on this special evening to be launching a new outdoor experience, Walks of a Curious Nature.

This brand-new seasonal promenade experience, introduces natures biographies, and seasonal punchlines, bringing new understanding of our place alongside nature, and how harmony and knowledge will promote necessary growth, and wonder in us all.

A Walk of a curious nature will turn wellbeing on its head as your guide weaves a story with lead characters named Brain Science, Mother Nature, Heligan Healing and Your good self, bringing wonder-filled questions that deliver the 'wows', as we join connection dots specific to the season. Soak up the beauty in all its disguises and devour delicious treats, whilst swinging in hammocks and spending time simply being.

It's time to get curious about Nature because its enchantment is just what the doctor ordered!
