Easter at Heligan
This Easter is set to be the best yet at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, with a choctastic programme of fun and cheekiness that even the Easter Bunny can’t rival!
Oh no! The cheeky Tamworth piglets have escaped! Can you help them find the cheeky piglets that have taken a wander around the gardens? How many can you spot? If you manage to find them all, there will be a chocolaty prize to thank you for all your hard work.
To celebrate 25 years of being open to the public, we have transformed our tractor shed into ‘The Barn’, an informative agricultural space that will play host to some very special new friends this Easter. Join them here to meet the newly born lambs and piglets and learn more about the Wider Estate and the important work that is carried out to keep heritage practises alive.
If you still have enough spring in your step, go along to the Steward’s Garden and enjoy a host of family fun games such as egg and spoon racing, egg rolling, ‘Hook a Duck’, the ‘Lost Eggs’ obstacle course and the Hobby Donkey Derby. Who will be crowned egg champion?
It doesn’t stop there! In the Easter marquee, there will be farmyard family fun where you can transform yourself into a cheeky Tamworth piglet or a springy Lamb, by creating your very own headdress. You can try your hand at creating a unique farmyard finger puppet or even draw inspiration from their famous Kitchen Garden and grow your own speedy heritage (Painted Lady) bean.
