Job title: Receptionist – Groups and Members lead
Department: Reception
Line management responsibilities: NA
Reports to: Head of Operations
Duration: Permanent fixed hours
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Principal purpose of role
Provide administrative support across the company.
Working with the existing team to cover a seven-day week, including weekend days, holidays and sickness.
Providing friendly and polite customer service to our visitors and our local pass holders / members
Support on administration for group bookings, processing administration and welcoming group leaders.
Area of responsibility/tasks
Delivery of an excellent and professional offer
Ensure high standards of presentation, service and cleanliness in the reception area.
Dealing promptly and politely with visitor enquiries via email, telephone and in person.
Champion access and carry out mobility scooter inductions.
Be the first point of contact for our arriving Members, and promote Membership sales.
Visitor experience and customer care
Ensure an exceptional standard of visitor experience.
Be smart, polite and helpful at all times.
Develop knowledge of Heligan and its history, and answer questions regarding all aspects of Heligan.
Groups and Membership lead
Assist in administration, responding to enquiries and taking bookings for group visitors
Respond to Member and Local Pass enquiries, pass renewals, checking in and queries.
Work with finance department to ensure correct invoicing and payment for group bookings.
Key Skills and Personal Qualities
Strong customer service skills, able to maintain composure when handling customer complaints in busy operational time periods.
Administration skills, using word, excel and internal systems such as DigiTickets.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent time management skills, ability to manage several projects to required deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team and flexibility with the demands of the company.
