Kitchen Porter
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the Heligan Hospitality team.
The perfect candidate must have a desire for Hospitality, can work under pressure and think on their feet.
Can provide multitasking and excellent communication skills.
Area of responsibility/tasks
- Follow cleaning lists and ensure the kitchen area and equipment is kept clean
- Ensure floors are kept clean and grease free
- Clear all rubbish and emptying bins when required
- Ensure all cleaning stations stay topped up as required
- Maintain all crockery, glasses and pots and pans are kept clean to high standards
- Wash pots and pans for the kitchens
- Wash cutlery and crockery for front of house
- Report any defects in equipment to the Head Chef
- When needed, assist chefs with food preparations
- Be aware and mindful of following all food hygiene procedures
- Ensuring all cleaning and kitchen porter duties are consistently completed in accordance with schedules.

Hours: Hours vary and are likely to include some later evenings for Winter events
Job Type: Part time temporary.
Other: all candidates must have left school and be over the age of 16.
