Lost Supper Home & Heritage

  • 28 Feb: 6:30pm - 10pm

Join us this February as we celebrate Home & Heritage in the Heligan Kitchen.

Our incredible Lost Supper menu will focus on traditional Heligan recipes created throughout the garden's rich history.

The Tremayne Archive reveals old recipes from Heligan House circa 1770's and includes meat, fish, cake, pudding and drink.

Travelling forward in time to the early 2000's we have three recipe books compiled by former Heligan chefs Paul Drye and Richard Quested, detailing Fish and Meat, Chicken and Game, The Best from the Bakery, Vegetarian and Fruit recipes.

The 2025 Kitchen team will entice you on this food journey with 5 courses of home cooking and comfort food, while highlighting today's garden produce and rare breed meat.

£65pp includes a welcome cocktail and 5 courses.

What are Lost Suppers?

Lost Suppers are about connections, the connection between people, the soil, the planet and food. In the current climate it’s never been more important to talk about food miles and eating from the land has always been the way at Heligan, that’s what it was built for.

The menu is never published beforehand as it is written after the gardeners have listed what’s available or what’s in season, which makes this unique experience completely ingredient led.

This special Lost Suppers will be held in the Heligan Kitchen conservatory.  Doors will open at 6:30pm with a welcome drink for all upon arrival.

*Please note the dining experience lasts approximately 3 hours
