Heligan x THE PIG Lost Supper - Fully Booked
We’ll be dishing up a five-course tasting menu that’s packed full of flavour, and uses the freshest and finest Heligan ingredients. The supper will be prepared by Head Chef at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, Tom Holloway, alongside our very own Heligan Chef, Alex Martin.
THE PIG and Heligan share the same approach to food – the best ingredients, grown sustainably and served deliciously. Heligan’s Victorian Productive garden is 157 yards from the Heligan Kitchen and Bakery – and whatever THE PIG’S Kitchen Garden teams are unable to grown themselves is sourced from within a 25 mile radius. In Cornwall we have the season’s bounty on our doorstep, and this October we can’t wait to share the celebration of Heligan’s Harvest with you at this special evening.
The meal includes a welcome cocktail and 5 course tasting menu. Our evening will start at 6.30pm with a tour of the Productive Gardens at Heligan, and last for approximately 3 hours.
What are Lost Suppers?
Lost Suppers are about connections, the connection between people, the soil, the planet and food. In the current climate it’s never been more important to talk about food miles and eating from the land has always been the way at Heligan, that’s what it was built for.
The menu is never published beforehand as it is written after the gardeners have listed what’s available or what’s in season, which makes this unique experience completely ingredient led.
This special Lost Suppers will be held in the Heligan Kitchen conservatory. Doors will open at 6:30pm with a welcome drink for all upon arrival.
The Heligan Shop will remain open a little later during our Lost Supper evenings. Diners can enjoy 15% discount in the Heligan Shop before their unique evening dining experience begins.
