Lost Supper x The Greet Cheese

Join the Heligan Kitchen team and our wonderful supplier, The Greet Cheese for a special Lost Supper this March.

This collaboration with the big cheese himself, James Greet, is one not to be missed. Being a cheesemonger for 12 years before opening his own company in 2020, James supplies Heligan with the finest cheese from Cornwall and beyond.

Begin your evening with a Parmesan martini followed by an indulgent five courses of Cornish cheese, combined with Heligan's homegrown produce and rare breed meat.

As a special gift from The Greet Cheese, one lucky guest will get to take home a gift bag of cheese from the evening's menu. A great opportunity to create your own cheese dishes or enjoy on its own

What is a Lost Supper?

Lost Suppers are about connections, the connection between people, the soil, the planet and food. In the current climate it’s never been more important to talk about food miles and eating from the land has always been the way at Heligan, that’s what it was built for.

The Kitchen Garden sits just 157 yards from the kitchen and grows around 4.5 tonnes of vegetables and fruit per year. Home Farm hosts an array of rare breeds and provides a small supply of meat each year. None of this could ever be enough to feed all our visitors but here we are celebrating the fruits of our labour in innovative and sometimes surprising ways.

The menu is never published beforehand as it is written after the gardeners have listed what’s available or what’s in season, which makes it completely ingredient led and 5 out of 7 courses will always be vegetarian.

Our Lost Suppers will be held within the Heligan Kitchen & Conservatory. Doors will open at 6:30pm with a welcome drink for all upon arrival.
