Member Event - Beaver Tours
With our Eurasian beavers now settled in nicely, we'd like to invite our Heligan Members to explore their 22 acre enclosure and to see some of the amazing changes they have made.

Who
These special events are for Heligan Members to join wildlife coordinator Toby Davies.
How much?
There is no charge for this event but we do suggest a donation to our friends at the Beaver Trust.
Please note that this event will take place in an area of the Heligan estate that is quite steep and potentially muddy in places.
We'd advise sturdy footwear and the ability to duck under a fence at the bottom of the valley! We'd also suggest long sleeve and trousers as we may head into the undergrowth.
No pathways have yet been created, this event is for those over the age of 16 and ask that dogs are not brought to the tour.
We ask that guests do not use cameras with a flash.
Food and drink will not be provided so you are more than welcome to bring a drink and snack if you wish.
Guests are welcome to bring binoculars and a torch/head torch for the walk back.
We'll be heading into the estate in the evening as beavers are crepuscular so they're mostly active at dawn and dusk, As our enclosure is so big, we can't guarantee that we'll see our beavers but we'll certainly try our best.
