Heligan’s Woodland Wonderland!

When all at once we saw a crowd, beneath the trees… and in this case it was our Gardening and Estate team who united forces to plant some 30,000 Cornish Daffodil bulbs and 70,000 Snowdrops, along the Estates stunning Woodland Walk this November.
Visitors to the gardens between February and April 2017 can expect a feast for the eyes, as the woodland floor bursts into life with the gentle white blooms of over 100,000 Cornish White Daffodils and Snowdrops.
All Cornish Daffodil bulbs were supplied by local daffodil specialists Fentongollan Farm, which is located on the banks of the Fal Estuary and has been farmed by the same family since 1883. Fentongollan grows an extensive range of Cornish Daffodil bulbs and also supplies the Heligan Shop.
