Heligan runners raise over £1,600 for First Light
- 29th Apr 2024
We're delighted to announce that festive Heligan visitors have helped raise over £1,400 for our chosen charity on this year's annual charity day on New Year’s Day.
With the big day just around the corner, we head to the Heligan Kitchen to explore the many treats on offer this festive season.
It is with great sadness that we reflect on the passing of artist Jamie Reid. His gallerist John Marchant confirmed his death alongside Reid’s family. In a statement he was described as an “artist, iconoclast, anarchist, punk, hippie, rebel and romantic. Jamie leaves behind a beloved daughter Rowan, a granddaughter Rose, and an enormous legacy.”
The ancient rhododendrons of The Lost Gardens of Heligan recently provided a practice ground with a difference for the junior cricket team of neighbouring Gorran.
